Suzanne Corbett Wins Top Writing Awards from Missouri Professional Communicators

Longtime food and travel writer wins statewide honors from Missouri Professional Communicators.

Suzanne Corbett, a board member of the St. Louis Press Club who also has written the "Eating In, Dining Out" column for Fenton High Ridge Patch,  has won the a variety of awards Missouri Professional Communicators, an affiliate of National Federation of Press Women. Her work is seen in a variety of local publications.

Corbett, of South County, won a first place award for travel articles that appeared in AAA Southern Traveler & West News Magazine. She also won a first place award for Business Specialty (restaurant spotlights) for West News Magazine, second place in Food Writing for the Web for her work on Patch.com, and second place awards for Photography (travel article) and Food Columns and Features.

Based on the number of entries and awards she earned, Corbett also received the MPC Communicator of Achievement award in this year's contest. All first place winners now will be in contention for awards on the national level with the National Federation of Press Women.
