Our Lady of Providence Reigns in Fish Fry Food Fight

St. Justin the Martyr Catholic Church finished a close second.

It was a spirited Food Fight this week as the generated 1,313 votes in our friendly competition.

After all the votes were in, Our Lady of Providence Catholic Church in Crestwood was at the top of the fish fry heap with 533 votes, 40 percent of the total.

The runner-up in our Fish Fry poll was  in Sunset Hills. It garnered 510 votes, 38 percent of the total. Close behind was  in Affton with 225 votes (17 percent).

One St. Justin patron was effusive in her praise of the St. Justin fish fry.

"St. Justin has the best fish as well as the best sides. Dot's Coleslaw is the stuff of legends!" Peggy Behnen said in a comment.
