Mardi Gras at the Zoo, Wii Just Dance at Library

Fun stuff to do with the kids and family this weekend.

Delta Dental Mardi Gras at the St. Louis Zoo, Living World - The Zoo's family-friendly Mardi Gras celebration includes face-painting, mask-making, dancing and a grand finale parade. Children must be accompanied by a parent. Free.  11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

at the - Students ages 12-18 will have a blast and burn calories at this activity. Space is limited, registration required. Free. 1-2:30 Saturday.

Fun Friday Puppet Show at the St. Louis Carousel, Faust Park, Chesterfield - "Jivey Jungle Tales" is the featured selection by Ginny Weiss with Puppets on Hand. $5 in advance, $6 day of the show. Ticket includes one carousel ride after the show. Doors open at 9:30, show starts at 10 a.m. Friday.

Visiting Artist Series: Clay Play at the Magic House, St. Louis Children's Museum, Kirkwood - Kids can coil, pinch and throw their own earthenware works of art. $8.75.  10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.

at Jefferson County Library, Arnold Branch - Kids can play with games provided by the library or bring their own. Free. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday.
