Hwy. 141 Bridge over Hwy. 21 to Undergo Months of Rehab; Detours Begin Monday

Left turns from Highway 141 onto Highway 21 will be closed in both directions as motorists are detoured around the construction zone.

Beginning Monday, the Highway 141 bridge that crosses Highway 21 in Jefferson County will be undergoing an extensive rehabilitation.

The Missouri Department of Transportation MoDOT, and its contractor Krupp
Construction, will begin the rehab work on the bridge April 4, weather permitting.

MoDOT says crews will be working on bridge rehabilitation on the existing structure. Lanes on northbound and southbound Hwy 141 will remain open. However, the left turns from Hwy. 141 to Hwy. 21 will be closed during the bridge work with signed detours. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2011.
