Hilda, Bessie, Buddy, Alex Seeking New Homes

Dogs, cats available for adoption from the Open Door Animal Sanctuary.

Hilda is a wonderfully sweet tortoiseshell cat. All Hilda wants is a lap to sit in. She could actually sit with you all day. Hilda is about 7 years old and is a bit on the larger side. Due to being a little overweight, she doesn't like to be picked up that much, but if you are sitting, she's right on top of you. Hilda is a quiet girl that doesn't really have a voice, but she tries to talk. If you are looking for a cat to spoil, than you should definitely come by to see Hilda.

Bessie is a very laid back calico/tabby that is just looking for a comfortable place to spend the rest of her days. Even though she is 12 years old, she still has a lot of life left in her. She is an affectionate lady that likes to sit in laps and be cuddled. She doesn't really play that much, she prefers to nap in the sunbeams. If you are looking to give a great girl a second chance at a home, please come by to see Bessie.

Alex is a very shy, timid guy that needs out of the shelter in a bad way. He spent his whole life in a loving home only to find himself back at the shelter. It's a very scary and confusing time for him. Alex is very loving once he gets to know you and would do best in a quiet, patient home with no children. At 7 years old, no body seems to want to take a chance on this great dog. If you are wanting to give a deserving guy a great home, consider Alex.

Buddy is a favorite at the shelter. At 8 years old, this little Beagle still has a lot of spunk and energy. He absolutely loves stuffed toys and actually tries to see how many he can carry at one time. Buddy is great with other dogs, cats, and even kids. Buddy loves everyone. If your home is missing a little bit of happiness, Buddy will definitely fill that void. This playful little guy sure doesn't act his age.
