Gage, Mario, L.A., Melissa Seeking New Homes

Dogs, cats available for adoption from the Open Door Animal Sanctuary.

Gage is a wonderful boy that's about 6 years old and loves to go for walks. Weighing in at 37 lbs he loves to lay on the couch with people and just get attention. He is a very smart dog that already knows several commands. He is a very sensitive boy that just wants a family that wants him to spend the rest of his life with them. He would prefer a calmer household that is filled with love. Gage does well with other dogs and even gets along with cats.

Mario is a 8-year-old cat that has spent most of his life in a cage. Before he came to our shelter, he was only allowed to stretch his legs for an hour a day. Now he's a happy, healthy, active older gentleman that is full of love. He loves to explore the shelter and make new friends. Mario is a little standoffish at first, but warms up quickly. Anyone wanting a wonderful older cat should come and meet Mario.

L.A. is a 7-year-old black lab mix. She weighs about 82 lbs, and it would be great for her to go on long walks to lose a few of those. A very kind and gentle dog, L.A. is just looking for a place to call home. She loves everyone including kids, dogs, and cats. Already housebroken and trained, L.A. would be the perfect first dog for any family.

Melissa is a very entertaining girl. She is about 4 years old and has a personality out of this world. Her favorite thing to do is sit on the bathroom sink and stare at herself in the mirror. She's beautiful, and she knows it. Melissa is affectionate and also very playful. A string and a box are all she needs to be entertained. If your home is lacking a little in the personality department, Melissa will fill that void in a heartbeat.
