Fun with Pi, Ms Fix-It Workshop, YU-GI-OH Games Offer Weekend Fun

Here's a roundup of fun things for the kids and family to do this weekend.
Celebration of Pi at the St. Louis Science Center - Throughout the Center there will be activities and games to honor the fascinating number Pi. Free. 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sunday.
AKC Museum of the Dog in Queeny Park - The featured dog is the Samoyed. These fluffy white dogs are friendly and make great companions. 1:30-4:00 p.m. Sunday.

Ms. Fix-It Workshop at 83oo Valcour St. in Affton - Missouri Women in Trades is offering this workshop for girls ages 7-13. A great way for girls to learn that building and fixing things are indeed 'girl jobs.' Participants will build a stool that they can take home. The event is hosted by the Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship Program at their training facility. Reservations required. Call 314-963-3200. $10. 9 a.m.-noon Saturday.
at Windsor Branch Library in Barnhart - Kids ages 10 and older can bring their own deck and play YuGiOh. Must have a general knowledge of the rules. Reservations requested. 1-3 p.m. Saturday.
