1. CRYSTAL CAJUN COOK-OFF
- Where/When: 5595 Grand Dr., World’s Fair Pavilion in Forest Park; Saturday, noon-4 p.m.
- Why Go: Sample Cajun/Creole specialties, enjoy free unlimited samples of Bud Light beer, Southern Comfort Hurricanes and soft drinks.
- Pricing: $30 in advance, $35 at the door
2. FALLIN' WAY AT STRATFORD BAR & GRILL
- Where/When: 800 S. Highway Dr.; Saturday, 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
- Why Go: Party to one of Jefferson County’s own bands with their repertoire of everything from classic rock to country and soul.
- Pricing: $5
3. 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL

4. SPRING 2011 ST. LOUIS GARDEN BLITZ: THE EDIBLE REVOLUTION
- Where/When: Missouri Botanical Garden, 4344 Shaw Blvd.; Saturday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Why Go: Learn about various aspects of horticulture in this one-day event with a virtual smorgasbord of workshops, speakers and informational booths.
- Pricing: $80 Garden members, $96 non-members
5. PICKIN SUNDAYS OPEN BLUEGRASS JAM
