Fenton, High Ridge Escape Significant Storm Damage

Tree limbs, trash cans and patio furniture litter local neighborhoods.

There might have been tree limbs, trash cans and patio furniture blown around the neighborhoods in Fenton and High Ridge, but officials said there was no significant damage from the strong tornadic winds Sunday night that passed through the area.

"Not a whole lot of problems," said Fenton Police Officer Aaron Dilks. "Only minor stuff really."

A few portable sheds from a display at the Lowe's Home Improvement store at Fenton's Gravois Bluffs were blown over a row of hedges and tumbled partly down a long embankment next to Highway 141.
