Daily Dose: 'Miracle' Hockey Game and Good Steak Joints are on Our Mind

Here's what you need to know about today.

Good morning Fenton and High Ridge.

Working It Out: They will be limbering up from 9 to 10 a.m. today at the Northwest Branch of the Jefferson County Library with a low-impact exercise class. The twice-a-week class is for all who want to improve their range of motion, strength and flexibility. It is hosted by the Missouri Health Department and the Arthritis Foundation. No sign up is required. Just show up and be ready to get into the action.

Do you believe in Miracles?:  It was on this date in 1980 that the U.S. Hockey team pulled off a major upset in the Winter Olympics by defeating a heavily favored squad from the Soviet Union. By a 4-3 score, the Americans pulled off the "miracle" game victory, earning them the right to compete in the gold medal match against Finland. The U.S. also won that game 4-3.

Ooooh that weather!: Dust off the golf clubs and clean the bike. Today will be a day to be outside soaking up the sunshine and the expected 63-degree weather. It'll be gusty, though, so hold on to your hat.  Spring may not have sprung yet, but it will sure feel like it Wednesday.

Steak Your Claim:  There is still time to nominate you favorite steakhouse in the latest Patch Food Fight. Readers have been busy nominating their favorite steak places,  so make sure your "go to" place for steaks gets some attention.
