Big RiverChase Garage Sale, Wrestling Among Today's Highlights

Her Heart: in conjunction with the SSM heart Institute, the Fenton Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a seminar called Her Heart: Every Beat Counts from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Orlando Gardens Banquet Center, 8352 Watson Road, Webster Groves. Participants will learn the unique heart disease risks that women face, hear from and ask questions of SSM Heart Institute heart experts, get screened for risk factors, learn how to lower their risk and enjoy complimentary lunch.

Ginormous Garage Sale: It doesn't have a garage, but RiverChase of Fenton is hosting the Big RiverChase Indoor Garage Sale today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lots of vendors will have lots of items for those seeking unusual treasures. Entry to the Garage Sale is free.

Snow dance: In 1960, the VIII Winter Olympic Games were opened on this date in Squaw Valley, CA. A lack of snow prompted organizers to hire Native Americans to do a snow dance, but a deluge of rain was the only result. Snow finally arrived before the opening ceremonies.
