Classic Car Owners on Cruise Control at the 'Memories' Car Club Show

Classic cars of all types were the attraction as hundreds of spectators turned out Friday for the monthly car show sponsored by the Memories Car Club of High Ridge at Life Christian Church in Sunset Hills.

A beautiful Friday afternoon and evening resulted in hundreds of auto enthusiasts flocking to the monthly car show sponsored by the Memories Car Club of High Ridge at Life Christian Church in Sunset Hills.

Due to the popularity of the monthly event, only cars that were vintage 1970 and older were allowed in the show. At that, there still was a long line of vehicles queued up for entry into the show. Spectators, regardless of the vintage of the vehicle they drove, were funnelled into a separate parking lot.

The Memories Car Club holds the monthly show as a way for car owners to show off their vehicles, and as a way to raise a little money to charity. Any funds left in the club's account at the end of the year is donated to local charities.
