The Very Hungry Caterpillar Storytime at Barnes & Noble in Fenton - A special storytime for children ages 3-6 celebrates a childhood favorite, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. Each child must be accompanied by an adult to help with the craft activity. Space is limited, reservations requested. Call 636-326-4619. Free. 11 a.m. Saturday.
World Eagle Day at the World Bird Sanctuary in Valley Park - Celebrate Eagles from around the world with a day full of activities including a kid's craft center, Naturalists sharing fun raptor facts, photo opportunities with a Bald Eagle, tours of the wildlife hospital and eagle shows in the amphitheater. Free. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.

in Kirkwood - Families (no more than 2 adults and 4 children of their own) can enjoy the hands-on exhibits at the museum for free! 5:30-9:30 p.m. Friday.
Moolah Shrine Circus at the in St. Charles - Enjoy tumbling clowns, trapeze artists, tigers, lions, elephants and more! $12-$35. 7 p.m. Thursday, 10:30 a.m., 7:30 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m., 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday; 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday. The 1 p.m. Sunday performance is also for the hearing impaired.

March Morpho Mania at the Butterfly House in Chesterfield - Children ages 2-12 can have fun learning about Central American chocolate and coffee farming. Activities include pretending to harvest pods and beans, testing the acidity of coffee and painting with chocolate. $4-$6, free for children 2 and younger. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
