Beat 'Em Up Joe, Sarge, Scooby Seeking New Lives

Dogs, cats available for adoption from the Open Door Animal Sanctuary.

Beat 'em Up Joe has already gone through eight of his nine lives. Joe was abandoned by his owners who moved off and left him. He is a very affectionate boy and the staff can't believe it after the life he has had. He has been attacked by other animals, has had two severe breaks to his back leg, and was starved until he was severely under weight. After all of this, he still has the best personality in the world. He has no enemies and loves every person he meets. Anyone looking to give a great cat a great home for the last of his nine lives should definitely fall in love with Joe.

Scooby is a very friendly boy that loves people. He is a 5-year-old Chow/Golden mix weighing in at a healthy 60 pounds. He is a wonderful dog that is already housebroken and loves to play tug of war and fetch. Scooby gets along well with other well socialized dogs and is a little nervous around cats. He is frightened of small children (probably because of the noise and sudden movements) so no young kids in his new home would be great. Scooby is just looking for a permanent place to call a forever home.

Sarge is a wonderful boy. He is a large boy, probably a Saint Bernard or Mastiff mixed with something, or a whole lot of somethings, else. He is a little underweight at 76 pounds and is only about 2 years old. Although he's only been at the shelter for a little while, everyone is in love with him. He thinks that he's a lap dog and just wants to cuddle and get attention from people. After being abandoned in a flooded home, Sarge is in need of a warm and loving home full of love.
