Art Fair, Brewer and Shipley Weekend, Plant Swap

Wow! We've got a fun pool of activities to dive into this weekend.


Where/When:
, 12580 Rott Rd, Sunset Hills; 6-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.
Why Go: The nationally known art and craft fair is a juried show and prestigious event with something for everyone. Highlights are  musical entertainment including the Sunset Hills Music Festival, the Art on the Vine wine tasting and hands-on art activities for kids.
Pricing: Admission is $8, $5 children ages 6-11, free for members and children younger than 6. The wine tasting event is $12


Where/When:
, 3915 S Lindbergh Blvd.; 9 a.m.-noon Saturday.
Why Go: Get cash or pool passes for bringing aluminum cans and unwanted clothing. For bicycle donations receive a $10 discount on any Parks Department activity or receive a pool pass.
Pricing: Free admission


Where/When:
, 33 E Glendale Rd.; 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday.
Why Go: More than 50 area skaters, ages 6 and up will perform to music from the hit TV show Glee.
Pricing: $4, $2 children ages 12 and younger

Where/When:
The activity is sponsored by Kirkwood's  , but will be held at Jefferson Barracks Park at the Luethauser Shelter; 8:30-11 a.m. Sunday.
Why Go: Hike as far as you like on the paved trail then enjoy a breakfast of sausage, French toast, fresh fruit, pastries and beverages.
Pricing: $10 adults, $5 children, advanced registration and payment required.

, 2720 Sutton Blvd, Maplewood; 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
Why Go: Hear what else they've got in their repertoire in addition to their top 10 hit "One Toke Over the Line."

Why Go: In commemoration of Japanese Children’s Day celebrated on May 5, artist Sugi Taylor demonstrates how to create origami kimonos, cranes, Samurai warrior helmets and other pieces of intricately folded paper art.
Pricing: Free with museum admission

The Community Room, 32 Crestwood Plz.; 6:30 -10 p.m. Saturday.
Why Go: Entertainment for the entire family. Highlights include the Arch Rivals Improv Comedy Trouple, Windsor Theatre Group and Dale Jones-Comedy Juggler. Drinks, desserts and light hors d'oeuvre will be sold.
Pricing:$15 adults, $5 children


Where/When:
, 1015 S Sappington Rd.; 9-11 a.m. Saturday.
Why Go: Spruce up the variety in your garden by swapping perennials, herbs and bulbs with your neighbors. Label flowers and indicate sun or shade preference.
Pricing: Free


Where/When:
, 1871 Bowles Ave, Fenton; 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
Why Go: Local law enforcement agencies have teamed up with Krispy Kreme  to achieve a goal of raising $5,000 for local Special Olympics Missouri athletes.
Pricing: Participants will get a sweet treat from Krispy Kreme for their donations!


Where/When:
3233 Laclede Station Rd, Maplewood; 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.
Why Go: Get up close or even inside to sit in the driver's seat of a dump truck, back hoe or fire truck!
