Alina, Lisa, Moose, Bonnie Looking for Homes

Dogs, cats available for adoption from the Open Door Animal Sanctuary.

Alina is a 5-year-old short haired female that likes people. She is a very sweet girl that likes to lounge around all day. She loves to curl up on any soft surface she can find. The only time she gets excited to wake up from her nap is when a bouncy ball goes flying down the hallway. She loves to chase them, as they bounce, she jumps along after them. Alina is a quiet girl that would love a warm, quiet house to call her own.

Bonnie is a great girl who's one of our plus sized models. She is a very sweet girl that has a little extra to love. Bonnie is a favorite here at the shelter because she has such a great personality. She is a very independent girl that loves to be petted and brushed. In fact she'd let you brush her all day. Bonnie would do best in a single pet household as she likes to have all of your attention to herself.

Moose is a 7- or 8- year-old Mastiff. He is a very large breed dog. He is very friendly and absolutely loves to give kisses. He does have a little bit of a drooling problem, but that's not a big deal right? He gets along with most dogs, but he is kind of picky about his friends. He has a bit of a deformed ear, but that just adds to his cuteness. He needs a lot of room and would love a yard to call his very own.

Lisa is a 6-year-old mixed breed that weighs about 50 lbs. She gets along well with other dogs and loves to go for walks and car rides. Lisa likes people, but can be a little standoffish to new people, so most people think she isn't friendly. She loves toys and loves to play. Lisa would like a quiet household with no small children in it.

Open Door Animal Sanctuary is a no-kill shelter in Jefferson County dedicated to preserving the life and health of homeless cats and dogs, providing shelter, food and veterinary care while fostering their social skills and encouraging their adoption into loving homes.
