You have the potential to change the face of cancer- ACT NOW

You have the potential to change the face fo cancer- ACT NOW by volunteering for the American Cancer Society Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3). Lean more at cancerstudymo.org

Last week, the American Cancer Society in partnership with local companies, enrolled hundreds of St. Louis residents in an unprecedented historic cancer study looking at what may cause and prevent cancer. Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3) has the potential to change the face of cancer for future generations. Enrollments are happening again this week in the Central West End, Fenton and Clayton.

In just 20-30 minutes you can contribute to something that could impact your children, your grandchildren and generations to come.

If you are between the ages of 30-65, have never been diagnosed with cancer and are willing to participate in a long term study (meaning you will be sent a follow-up study ever two to three years), then you are eligible.

Information on THIS WEEK'S enrollments at host companies Centene, Siteman Cancer Center and Maritz can be found online at cancerstudymo.org. Simply register for a time slot at one of our locations or walk-in during the times listed. During enrollment participants fill out a survey that asks information on lifestyle, behavioral, and other factors related to health, and have a waist measurement and small blood draw.

Taking an hour out of your day- and an hour or so every few years to fill out a survey- could potentially save someone from being diagnosed with cancer in the future!
