Ed "Colonel" Amrein typically touts amenities like finished basements, backyard decks, fireplaces or fenced backyards when he is selling homes in and around Fenton as a Realtor professional for Realty Executive Premiere.
But one of his current properties up for sale is the old Commerce Bank building at 320 Gravois Road in Olde Towne Fenton. The amenities at the bank building include a large vault, a big parking lot and teller stations "ready to be made new." Ink pens on metal chains are not included in the $849,000 asking price for the 18,440 square-foot property.
Currently leasing space in part of the building are a couple of doctors and an insurence agency, but Amrein says there is plenty of room for many different types of businesses, with several individual office spaces, a gallery-like area, a sound room that could accommodate a small recording operation or any other use that is sound sensitive.
Amrein says about half of the space is on a lower level that features walkout access. There also is a small park adjacent to the building - Olde Towne Plaza Park. The building is well-shaded, with a number of mature trees on the site.
The Commerce Bank that once was the main business there, has since moved to a location in at 450 Old Smizer Mill Rd.
Amrein says the building needs a little rehab work, but is mostly solid and is suitable for a variety of uses. If you are looking to purchase an old bank, or if you just need a place with a big vault, contact Amrein at firstname.lastname@example.org.
