  • Comments: All items from a previous inspection, including proof of employee Hepatitis A immunization records and management food certification certificate, were corrected.

Tony B’s Pizzeria, 544 Gravois Rd.

  • Inspection date: June 10
  • Grade: A (100)
  • Comments: A microwave had food buildup, which was corrected on-site. Buffet plates were not inverted to protect food surfaces. The plates were flipped.

  • Comments: The inspector noted that tape was holding a gasket on a reach-in cooler in place. The item was recommended for repair.

Hot Shots Sports Bar & Grill, 950 S. Highway Dr.

  • Inspection date: May 22
  • Grade: A (97)
  • Comments: Dishes were not inverted to protect the food contact surface. An ice machine contained dirt buildup and was recommended for cleaningSingle service cups were being used as scoopers for seasoning; the inspector recommended they not be re-used. The inspector also noted duct tape on several handles in reach-in coolers. The restaurant was asked to make repairs by their next routine inspection.

McDonald’s, 1867 Bowles Ave.

  • Inspection date: May 30
  • Grade: A (99)
  • Comments: Several cans of insecticide were stored above a water heater, which was discarded during the inspection. Some single service containers were not inverted to protect the food contact surface.
