Hot Aztec Coming to Fenton
The food truck, known throughout St. Louis for its Mexican cuisine, is opening a sit-down restaurant.
Hot Aztec will bring its food truck fare to a new sit-down space in Fenton at 1914 Bowles Ave., Sauce Magazine reports.
Hot Aztec serves up Mexican food with a focus on local ingredients--and offer gluten-free and paleo-friendly options, too!
"When we first got into the business, our goal was to open a restaurant, but with the economy … it was more feasible to do a truck first," co-owner Dana Gardaphe told Sauce.
The owners have been using the space to prepare food for the mobile truck, according to the report, allowing customers to eat in or carry out their lunches.
