High Ridge Elementary Wins $25,000 Kleenex BoxTops Sweepstakes

High Ridge Elementary will use $25,000 won in a Kleenex sweepstakes to purchase new computers for the school, according to a news release from the Northwest R-1 School District.

The school’s BoxTops coordinator, Sally Chisholm and Special Education Teacher, Kathy Schroeder entered the school into the Kleenex Brand in the Classroom sweepstakes. The school was one of the in the nation to win $25,000, which is equal to a whopping 250,000 BoxTops.

“Winning this was outstanding.  I couldn’t believe it when I saw the e-mail saying we were chosen out of hundreds of schools to win this amazing prize! The money will definitely be put to good use," Principal Jenny Baugh said in the release.

“Having new computers in our school is essential. It helps our students stay on top with the latest technology and we’re so excited to have this opportunity.”

The school will receive boxes of Kleenex brand facial tissues and hand towels, according to the release.
