So Many Cats They Are Living in Bathrooms at Open Door

Sunbeams and catnip are the staples for some contented cats

Kittens, kittens, kittens!!! Open Door is just brimming with them. We have so many that we've lost count. We have super heroes, rock n rollers, and litters with names from A to Z. We have a few 8 week old litters, some kittens that are 3 months old, and the rest range in age all the way up to 9 months old. We have so many cats right now they are living in bathrooms. We have every color you could be looking for, except all white, so if you have one in mind, come meet our kids. They are spunky, sweet, and so cute! If you are searching for that perfect kitten to complete your family, we can almost guarantee you will fall in love here.

Here are a few to fall in love with:

Mia is a super affectionate 3-year-old cat. When she wants some loving, she climbs up on your shoulder and licks your face, hair, and ear. She loves to be held, snuggled, and rocked like a baby. Mia is also very social, she tolerates other cats, but loves to greet people. Since she's been in our office, very few people have been able to fill out paperwork alone, Mia is very helpful. She also enjoys a good sunbeam and a small pile of catnip every now and again. If your home is in need of a sweet girl to love you all day, please stop in to see Mia, she'll greet you in the office when you arrive.

Otto is a great guy that is looking for greener pastures. He is getting so bored here in his little room, he really needs a house to run around in to wear off some of this energy. Otto is a great guy that's only 2 years old. Otto likes to cuddle just as much as he likes to play. All Otto needs is some food, water, a litter box, and a few toys. In fact, he doesn't even really need toys, he can make anything into a plaything. If you are wanting to bring some new life into your household, Otto might just be the ticket. Drop by the shelter and ask to see the most handsome grey cat we have.

Shilo is a young man that already had a family. He was the father of six adorable kittens. Luckily, they have all found homes and now it's Shilo's turn. Shilo is very sweet and loves to be held. All the staff loves to pick him up and hug him. He is very playful and is always finding ways to entertain both himself and any people who are watching him. Shilo needs to be in a home that is full of love, he needs a lot of attention. Anyone who thinks that black cats are bad luck needs to come and meet Shilo. Anyone who crosses his path, considers themselves blessed because they have met such a great cat.
