Max, Joe, Jewel, Buffy Seeking New Homes

Cat and dogs from the Open Door Animal Sanctuary

Max and Joe are a young pair of brothers that were rescued from a hoarder and are now in search of a forever home. These boys love to snuggle and give love, they could be hugged all day. They also love to play. Anything can be made into a toy by these little guys. They are smaller guys and are already full grown, so if you can't handle a large cat, these boys are perfect. These boys were born with short tails, so when they run they look like bunnies. If you are looking for 1 or 2 perfect cats, come by to see Max and Joe.

Jewel is a 3-year-old mixed breed that came from a hoarding situation. This is a girl that is seriously into toys. She loves to play and loves to hang out with other dogs. She is an active girl and is very muscular. Small children may not be the best for her simply because she would bowl them over. Weighing in at a healthy 60 lbs, it's hard for us to believe this is the same skinny dog that arrived. If you are wanting to give someone a home that really deserves one, please come and meet Jewel.

Buffy is an older girl that is looking for a home full of love. Since she lived with a hoarder, she had a pretty rough life. This 10-year-old lady, is quiet and affectionate. She does get along with other dogs, but is a bit standoffish at first. She took some getting used to a leash, but now she walks like a pro. If you have a quiet home and plenty of love to give to a very deserving girl, come by the shelter and meet Buffy.
