Cody, Roxie, Miley, Nala Seeking New Homes

Dogs and cats available for adoption from the Open Door Animal Sanctuary.

Cody is a very handsome Chow mix that is just about 5 years old. Cody gets along with everyone, other dogs, puppies, cats, and all people. Cody knows several commands and is sort of housebroken. Cody walks well on a leash and loves to go for walks, he is energetic and playful. He loves to be petted and he will freely give you kisses to let you know that he loves you. Weighing in at 84 lbs, he really is just a big baby. If you are wanting a great dog, you should definitely come to meet Cody.

Roxie is a 6-month-old Shepherd mix that loves to play with tennis balls. She is highly active, but is very shy when first meeting people. Once she warms up to you she is very affectionate and playful. Roxie, despite her age, would not be suitable for children due to her shyness. We have been working with her to try and get her over it, but she will need a patient and trustworthy owner. If you are willing to give her a little time and some proper attention, Roxie will make the perfect dog.

Miley and Nala are very sweet Turkish Angoras that are about 1 1/2 years old. They are both very affectionate and playful. They love to lounge about as if they don't have a care in the world. Miley has two blue eyes and Nala has one blue and one brown. They do require daily combing due to the thickness of their hair. They both have a handicap, but it really isn't a big deal. They are both deaf. They don't let that stop them from enjoying life, however. Anyone who is looking for a beautiful girl that loves to be snuggled and combed should highly consider Miley and/or Nala.
