Barbie, Ken Seeking New Dream Home

Dogs and cats from the Open Door Animal Sanctuary.

Both of these sweet but timid Chihuahuas were found on the side of the road. Barbie was dumped at a school in hopes that a family would find her. Since she is scared of children, this was not the best idea. Ken was hiding in a ditch for a few days and was so scared that he ran from everyone who tried to get him. Finally he was caught and brought in to us. Once here, Ken fell in love with Barbie and has become less afraid of people. Ken and Barbie have become a match made in heaven and are learning to be inseparable. It is our hope that someone will be willing to give both of these older munchkins a loving home that will keep them together.

Xenia is a feisty 2-year-old that loves to run and play. Xenia is staring to calm down a little and is wanting to be held a little more, but she still really likes to play. If you are looking for a girl that will keep you on your toes, then look no further than Xenia. Sometimes she can get a little wild with the other cats, so she would need a very active playmate if there is going to be another cat in the house. This beautiful girl is just looking for a home that has a family to love her, even through her craziness.

Nacho is a very shy 6-year-old boy that needs a quiet place to call home. He has been with us for several years since he was rescued from a kill shelter. No one wanted to take the time to let him warm up, so we decided to. He is a very good boy that gets along well with other cats, in fact he loves other cats. Nacho likes to be petted, but not held. Nacho's perfect home would be one that is full of love and patience.
