Audrey, Sheila, Jasper, Tiger Need New Homes

Dogs, cats available for adoption from the Open Door Animal Sanctuary.

Audrey is a 7-year-old Domestic Short Hair Grey and White. She is the friendliest girl in the place, she absolutely loves people. She is quite the talker, she has an opinion on everything. She would do best in a single pet household as she is kind of a diva. Anyone looking for a great companion would not find a better choice than Audrey.

Sheila is an 8-month-old Australian Shepherd mix. She is very energetic and loves attention. A super friendly girl like her deserves a good home. She gets along well with most other dogs and loves to play. She is a quiet girl that doesn't have much bark to her making her perfect for a family that doesn't like a yappy dog!

Jasper is a 7-year-old Beagle whose owners moved and could no longer keep him. He is a large boy that could use some exercise to shed a few pounds. He is quite the talker who would be best paired with an owner who has had beagles or hounds previously as they are the only ones who can appreciate the baying. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to run in the yards with them.

Tiger is a 2-year-old Tabby and White male. He is a little shy at first and therefore gets overlooked at the shelter. Once he warms up to you though, he is a great cat that loves to be petted and held like a baby. He loves other cats and would need at least one other cat friend to help him adjust. He is a great little guy that just needs some love and understanding.

Open Door Animal Sanctuary is a no-kill shelter in Jefferson County dedicated to preserving the life and health of homeless cats and dogs, providing shelter, food and veterinary care while fostering their social skills and encouraging their adoption into loving homes. To adopt, visit the group's website at www.odas.org
