It's been a week since we jumped into the water with a new page on the Pinterest website. It's called Pintersting in Fenton and High Ridge and features the beauty and creativity of the people and businesses in the area. A lot of people have joined us and are "following" the board
We've added a few new images to the mix, in particular a pile of pound puppies from the Open Door Animal Sanctuary, a striking image of a classic advertising sign created by Ferd, Patch's wildly creative and well-regarded photo blogger and some serious macaroons from in Fenton. There also is an image that looks like nothing less than a bouquet of industrial cherry pickers, their baskets lifted skyward at all different angles.
Pinterest bills itself as a virtual bookmarking website. Its users "pin" the beautiful images they find on the Internet and arrange them on boards, much like a person does who enjoys scrapbooking, or making collections of the things they like. Chances are you'll like some of those things, too.
Here's our initial story on the Pinteresting Things in Fenton and High Ridge.
And here's where to find the Pinterest page.
Check it out. You may be surprised at the creativity that exists in our hometown. Or you'll discover some new things and places you may not have known existed.
And, if you have some visual treats you'd like to share, upload them to the Patch Neighborhood gallery and we can pin the beauties on the Pinteresting in Fenton and High Ridge board. You can get to our neighborhood gallery here. Once there you'll find instructions on how to upload your images.
We'd love to see them!
