4 Relaxing Park Benches in Fenton

Here's the view from four park benches around Fenton with peaceful scenery.

Fenton has eight city parks and most of them have fantastic scenery, especially if you know where the best spots are located. Grab your dog, a book or a cup of coffee and seek out these peaceful park benches the next time you want to unwind outside.

Stop here while on a hike: Westside Park has a one-mile wooded walking trail and is also the trail head for a path to Riverchase and Fabick Nature Preserve. You can walk all the way across town--without ever leaving the woods.

Stop here to watch the turtles: Bud Weil is a smaller park tucked behind Fenton City Hall. A family of turtles live in this pond and they can often be spotted sunning themselves on the fountain when it's turned off.

Stop here to fish: Fabick Nature Preserve is accessed by a one-lane gravel road. It's off the beaten path and pretty quiet except for the occasional fisherman.

Stop here to ponder the fate of the world: A popular exercise trail encircles with many benches along the way to stop and rest. But the benches around Hero's Memorial are the most thought provoking.
