Westminster Teacher Publishes Debut Novel

Luke H. Davis--local resident and emerging writer--has penned a unique murder mystery set in St. Charles County, his first volume in the Cameron Ballack Mystery series.

Entitled Litany of Secrets, Davis’ novel takes place primarily in the town of Defiance. Cameron Ballack, the novel’s hero detective, is a religiously skeptical, wheelchair-bound individual who is assigned to investigate the suspicious death of a visiting priest at nearby St. Basil’s Seminary. Once on site, Ballack realizes that very few in the St. Basil’s community have clean hands of their own. Soon one murder follows another, and Ballack has to think and act quickly before death targets him and his partner as well.

Litany of Secrets is published by Dunrobin Publishing. Initially available as an eBook on Kindle, Nook, and iBook, it is now available in paperback.

Purchasing options ($2.99 for eBook, $15.44 for paperback) are available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and on the publisher’s website at dunrobin.us/litany.php.

Davis resides in St. Charles with his wife Christy and their children Joshua and Lindsay. He teaches Ethics at Westminster Christian Academy in St. Louis, having previously served at schools in Louisiana, Virginia, and Florida. He also blogs at LukeHDavisFiction.blogspot.com.
