The 1000-012 POST Only class also achieved a 100 percent completion pass rate on the POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) license exam. They are the 14th class since the 2007 program transition to graduate with a 100 percent completion rate.

The mission of the Jefferson College Law Enforcement Academy is to provide quality law enforcement training for both new law enforcement recruits and veteran law enforcement officers. The training is designed to provide individuals and agencies with the information and skills needed to meet the needs of the community, develop skills to remain current in information and technology, and to prepare law enforcement officers to successfully respond to the challenges of a diverse society.
