The First Baptist Church of Murphy is aligned with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Missouri Baptist Convention. The church is involved in a variety of ministries and outreach programs. It sponsors a vacation Bible school every summer. First Baptist Church of Murphy also operates a food pantry with registration on the first and third Wednesdays of the month and pickups on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
