 All are welcome to come enjoy appetizers\, drinks and a fun evening welc
 oming a new group of women to the St. Louis Junior League. This will be 
 the final day for prospective members to sign up and join the new member
  class.\nThe Junior League of St. Louis (JLSL) is currently accepting&nb
 sp\;applications for its new member class! In today&rsquo\;s busy world\
 , women need the&nbsp\;opportunity to build new skills\, develop new fri
 endships and contribute to the&nbsp\;community. Benefits of JLSL members
 hip include: volunteer and leadership training\,&nbsp\;opportunities wit
 h like-minded women and community leaders\, potential to serve in leader
 ship positions\, insights into community needs and the chance to make a&
 nbsp\;difference in the St. Louis community.\nFounded in 1914\, JLSL mem
 bership draws women from the metropolitan St. Louis&nbsp\;area. A divers
 e organization\, the JLSL reaches out to women of all races\, religions 
 and&nbsp\;national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment
  to voluntarism.&nbsp\;Women must be at least 21 years of age and reside
  within the St. Louis metropolitan&nbsp\;area and surrounding counties.\
 nThe JLSL offers one new member class per JLSL calendar year starting in
  September.&nbsp\;The new member course provides education and training 
 about the structure of JLSL&nbsp\;and its role in the community\, as wel
 l as the opportunity to participate in &ldquo\;hands-on&rdquo\; activiti
 es\, fundraising events and numerous social activities throughout the ye
 ar.&nbsp\;Successful completion of the program prepares new members for
