This week we are going to take a look at one subject photographed from different angles … For my subject I have chosen what was supposed to have been one of the supports of the new Gravois Bridge, but due to the recent flooding, the strong current and river debris pulled it down and made it into this wonderful piece of abstract art composed of found objects ... mostly tree parts. I think that it's beautiful. In fact I think the builders of this bridge should carefully remove it from the river and find a place at rivers edge, Minnie Ha Ha Park, or even at the bridge's entrance and mount it as a permanent abstract sculpture.
All of the photos were taken from a boat, and thanks to captain Steve Gestring, I was able to photograph it from many angles.

Great pictures. That Gravois Bridge sure seems to be taking an unusually long time to do. Who's the contractor on that? The Jamaican bridge building team? Soon Come Mon!

Wow - great shots Ferd! You have certainly captured beauty in such a tactical object.
We undoubtedly underestimate the power of water - or Mother Nature in general.
