Sometimes I enjoy becoming a photojournalist for a day, and that was so Saturday August 25th. I have fallen in love with the Old Towne Fenton community and I enjoyed the heck out of photographing such an important day. I mostly focused my attention on the opening ceremony for the New Gravois Bridge, then put my camera away and spent the rest of the day enjoying the celebration.
By the way, thanks to everyone that came to my photo exhibit of Gravois Bridge the night before and a special thanks to the Studio Corner for hosting the event. For those who missed it, The Studio Corner will continue to display some of the images. Also a special thanks to the Fenton Chamber of Commerce for using one of my images for their t-shirt.
Enjoy

Ferd, again You have been a part of Old Towne Fenton Big Up, You are someone not just a Artist, but a Artist with a heart for the love of Old Towne fenton...
my thoughts:
What a wonderful event for Fenton and Joe Clark new addition" the Garden Patio Bar and seating for so many, many more friends and family, what a great day . Ferd was there with he wonderful eye for the fun, I think the best shot was the "Knights of Columbus: they remind me of "The Rat Pack" and of Tanner, who is always there to help:) Big Up Fenton, Big Up!

Ferd these show what a strong and active community Fenton is. You captured that nicely!! I didn't realize the bridge opening coincided with the 175th anniversary. It took me a moment to figure that all out. I love the photos of the old bridge coming down and chose one to buy while at the gallery. And I agree with Zoda.. the "Knights" photo is great!

I love the "Knights too... they were a bit hesitant letting me shoot them because they weren't in full dress yet.
