Hey Linda, have you looked at a globe lately? Just a little geographical lesson, Canada is not overseas. You really are going to have to get over the fact that Charles "high on himself" Groeteke and you lost your elections. Kelly Waymon is an excellent Councilman who stands on principle. As soon as "wind up" Bickowski is defeated in 2014 we will be shed of two Republicans that make real Conservatives like Kelly, Bob, and Terri look bad.

Kevin, thank you for the opportunity to explain the real meaning of being a Conservative.

First, let me address the "overseas" comment. I was hoping someone would pick up on the fact that our new Councilman Engelbach called it an "overseas" company and his three followers Boyer, Kreitler and Waymon went along with the "overseas" theme. You really need to watch the video. This shows the new "intelligence" we have on the Council. Councilman Engelbach also mentioned that we will not do business with "overseas" businesses. Can you spell bigotry? Again, please just take a glance at the video, it is quite enlightening.

Second, to beat Charlie, it took a Constitution candidate that the Engelbachs convinced to run then when that wasn't working, they worked with the Dems and when that wasn't getting the job done well enough, mother Engelbach put her own husband up to run against Charlie and then, they only beat him by 4 votes. Let's see, that's 2 candidates and the entire party of Democrats to beat Charlie - hmmmmm! I want to remind everyone also that George and Janet went to all this effort to eliminate a guy off the Council that was working hard for the County - I will elaborate on that in the following comments. Charlie wrote most of the legislation that was passed in the County in the first year not Boyer, not Kreitler and Kelly Waymon is so busy with worrying about texting in meetings that he doesn't have time to bother with the County.

Next, let's address the true meaning of Conservative. Do you remember the "Park the Cars" legislation that saved the County so much money on fuel and other expenses that it was part of the tax cut we were able to enjoy last year in the budget? Well, for your information CHARLIE GROETKE wrote that legislation not Boyer, Kreitler and Waymon and company. Charlie has never received credit for what he did behind the scenes, but there are those like the Councilwoman from District 5 that are more than happy to try to take credit for it. Read her letter in the Leader.

Charlie also wrote EDGE, legislation that would have sped up the process for paperwork submitted to the Planning and Zoning department to be approved more quickly. This would have provided for more jobs and additional tax revenue in Jefferson County. Bob Boyer nixed that. Thanks Bob Boyer - let's remember my previous comments about many businesses leaving Jeff County.

Charlie next introduced legislation for an Animal Control Board. Many people stepped up to serve on the Board. It would have been good for the failing pet shelter now in existance in Jeff. County. We would have had more stray animals taken off the streets that were starving, cold and dieing. Bob Boyer put a quick end to that - thanks Bob Boyer and our animals thank you as well. I'm sure the people at the sad shelter are also thanking him.

Next, let's look at Boyer's accomplishments while he was the Chair. Let's look at the UDO. Bob Boyer said he was changing it to bring more business into the County. After numerous discussions about the consequences of drastic changes to the UDO, only three small changes were passed and NONE of the those changes addressed increasing business in Jeff. County - well, that was a big accomplishment.

Next, while Mr. Boyer was Chair of the Council, let's remember the fiasco with our freedom of speech rights. Mr. Boyer managed with the help of Kreitler, Lane and Waymon and company to reduce our first amendment rights at the meetings. He managed to cut our freedom of speech down to five minutes. I guess this is what Kevin believes a Conservative's responsibility is. In my estimation, this is what we had with the Democrats and their good old boy network. They cut people's ability to have a say at the Council meetings and in the County and after awhile, no one showed up to the meetings. Now we have the RINO good old boy network instead.

Next, wasn't it Bob Boyer that said "if we have money, we need to spend the money"? Really Mr. Boyer? Is this the way a Conservative thinks about the money that taxpayer's worked hard to earn and then must hand over to the county? I must ask, what did you do while you were Chair besides create devisiveness, kill good legislation that would have benefited the County and turn against your party when it needed you at a 12 hour caucus?

Finally, our new Council Chair has entered with a bang. He started out by immediately stomping on the Charter by approving a contract without bringing it before the rest of the Council and then because he is the new dictator, he wants to limit our Constitutional ability of free speech by going a step further and banning text messaging. Why? Is it because we don't hear every word that our new dictator has to say? Good luck with that, Mr. Waymon.

Last but not least, Don Bickowski. If you come to the meetings, you will note that the Counsel for the Council repeatedly turns to Don for advice about the Charter. Don knows the Charter better than anyone and he follows it because it is like our Constitution for the County. I respect him for that, he knows how much effort was put into the Charter, he knows how many people gave hours and hours of effort to come up with just the right form of government that was fair for all the County residents. Don follows the charter and represents the County to the best of his ability. Don is a guy with ethics and principles and that's why I respect him. I guess Kevin feels the same as the Engelbachs, the Charter is not important so let's trash it.

One last note, the Engelbachs never wanted a Charter government. They fought the Charter from beginning to end. I believe they fought it because it makes it harder for peope like them to set up a regime that they control. Thankfully, there are those of us that are aware of all of this.

Just a side note, Linda. Please re-read my letter. It says "we" meaning we as the whole County government. It took everyone and all departments to make those changes. Your slanted interpretations have blinded you.

Bottom line is Bickowski and Groeteke are not fit for public office. Charlie because of his bad attitude toward anyone who disagrees with him and Don because he is unable to complete a sentence withouut using "wind up" 1,2, or 3 times. Frankly, it's embarrasing to watch him speak. I only read a small portion of your wordy diatribe, because as most are aware, you have no credibility, frankly you are full of it 99.9% of the time. I can only hope you keep writing long diatribes and carpal tunnel sets in and puts an end to your nonsense.

You can drop whatever makes you feel happy. You can think I'm whoever you want in your delusional mind. Doesn't change the fact that you are a person who fell down one to many flights of stairs as a child. As someone who watches all Council meetings online, I know the propaganda you spew is BS. And I will continue to call you out every chance I get. Based upon prior posts I'm sure Ken doesn't have any hesitation saying what he thinks about you.

Whoever you are really doesn't matter, it is great that you are so interested in my opinion which means that it bothers you as much as it does Terri Kreitler. Since you don't have the guts to come out of your closet and stand behind your word, you are the one with nothing of substance to add and as far as your credibility, by your very existence in the closet, you are the one that spews BS. If you can't provide proof or details about your opinion, whatever you write is pretty worthless. The Council will continue to be critiqued on my blog and if you want to give your worthless opinion, please do, it will add more readers to my column and more people will see what a detriment Bob Boyer, George Engelbach, Terri Kreitler and Kelly Waymon are to our County.
