Thief Steals 75 Chickens From Farm in Fenton

Weekly incident reports from the St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton precinct.

 

A man hired to watch over chickens at a farm on Old Highway 141 in Fenton, stole 75 of the birds instead, according to police.

The theft occurred on Oct. 30 and followed a dispute between the property owner and the man who was to watch over the chickens, police said.

Two women concealed clothing in their purses Oct. 29 at Gordman's, 687 Gravois Bluffs Blvd. then left the store making no attempt to pay. Both were issued a summons. 

A man concealed video games in his hoodie pocket Oct. 30 at Walmart then ran out of the store making no attempt to pay. He was captured and arrested.

A woman concealed clothing Oct. 30 at Kohl's, 115 Gravois Bluffs Blvd., then exited the store making no attempt to pay.  She was issued a summons.

A man temporarily stored outdoor equipment at his residence on Courtney Estates and when he went to retrieve the items two hours later he discovered they were missing.  An investigation is ongoing.

Someone ordered $150.40 worth of pizza from Dominos in Colorado using another person's identity. An investigation is ongoing. 

A man was yelling racial slurs toward another man Oct. 30 in the bar at Stratford Inn, 800 S. Hwy. Drive, when the first man left the bar and walked to his hotel room to get a shotgun. He then returned to the bar, located the man he had been yelling at and pointed the shotgun at him. Warrants were applied for.

A man paid his bill at Roadway Inn, 1860 Bowles Ave., with a counterfeit $100 bill. He was arrested.
