SSM St. Clare Health Center, 1015 Bowles Ave., Fenton, has been identified as a top 10 most beautiful hospital in America. In June, St. Clare was selected as a finalist from more than 350 nominations in Soliant Health’s Most Beautiful Hospital in America contest for its architectural style, photogenic properties, landscaping and distinctiveness. After a month of public voting and more than 170,000 votes, SSM St. Clare ended up ranked ninth.
“St. Clare was designed to create a safer, more comfortable healing environment for both our patients as well as their families,” said Bill Hoefer, president of St. Clare Health Center. “Evidence shows nature supports healing, so large expanses of windows throughout the facility let in ample sunlight and offer views to our beautiful campus.”
"From the large, all-private patient suites with nursing stations inside and outside the patient’s room to the beautiful two-story natural stone water wall that graces the lobby, St. Clare is truly a hospital like no other,” Hoefer said.

St Clare hospital is the only hospital I will go to.
It has all my doctors and they are really good .
St Clare has some of the best doctors around.

I spent a LOT of time there earlier this year. I called it "Hotel St. Clare". Still, given the fact that I was pretty sick, I try and not think about it too much.

I work at this hospital, and would not work anywhere else in STL. I love the conveinence of the layout, my co-workers are the best, and we all strive for excellence in patient care.

I have taken my husband there and another time I taken my daughter there and I can say this is the first hospital EVER that cared more about the patients health than the payment. Every hospital I have ever gone to around the St. Louis area(which were many different ones) cared more about the payment first than the patients health first. Both times it has been a very pleasant & caring visit. Highly Recommend. I 100% agree with Frances Aubuchon.
