Lightening and pouring rain Friday night caused school officials to postpone the varsity football game between Northwest and Fox high schools.
The game will be replayed Saturday night, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at Fox High School in Arnold.
The players never took the field and a dozen or so fans huddled in rain ponchos under the stands. More waited out the rain in their cars. The game was called due to lightening by 7:15 p.m.
