McCaskill, Akin Debate Is the Talk of Twitter
The final debate in Clayton between Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill and Republican Rep. Todd Akin drew heavy conversation on Twitter Thursday night.
Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO) and U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) will debate Oct. 18, 2012, at Clayton High School, KSDK Newschannel 5 reported. The two are seeking to become a U.S. senator for Missouri.

Incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill faced off tonight against challenger Rep. Todd Akin at Clayton High School. The event began at 7 p.m. and was aired live on KSDK NewsChannel 5.
The race has been hotly contested with its fair share of national coverage since Akin's remarks in August regarding legitimate rape. Dueling poll numbers released this week claim a lead for both candidates.

Akin is a conservative who is dedicated to uphold the Constitution. He has a better understanding of the problems we as a nation face. I trust him to do all he says that he will do as senator He is not beholding to Obama as Senator McCaskill obviously is. Our country cannot stand another 4 years of destructive Socialism, which Obama and McCaskill are pursuing. We must vote to oust both of them.

If you're into all that states' rights, erosion of the social contract, backward looking southern hillbilly nonsense, then Todd Akin's your man. A vote for McCaskill is at the very least a vote affirming that you live in the 21st century.

Thanks Gregg. I have heard of Storify. Use as a " Tool" should be the operative. It's still not news in an of itself. An aggregate of online commentary can be manipulated, giving far more weight to "people" that conduct a personna online. (well, maybe I do so myself - but I don't seek a following.)
Political groups have paid hacks that troll the online commentary in support of a political agenda. Former staffers of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker have plead guilty for using government time and resources for online polticial soliciting. Needless to say, in this era of partisan hysteria, there are plenty of willing volunteers spreading their opinions far and wide on the web.
Storify gives us an aggregate of the Dana Loesch's of the nation. If one wants to gratify themselves by following the comments of people like that, they are fully capable of doing so on their own.

if you to try and design and build a generic, lifeless "Right-wing Robot", it would speak and behave exactly like Todd Akin did last night. He did a great job of repeating all the talking points, with nothing new or interesting to bring to the table.
I may not agree with McCaskill on everything, but at least she's giving the issues thoughtful, nuanced consideration before speaking and before voting, not just following whatever orders her ideology-driven puppetmasters give.

Claire votes how she's told 98% of the time. Like some of you.
This is a woman who claims to be tough on China, yet votes to borrow more than a trillion dollars per year from them. When have you ever seen the borrower "be tough on" the loan shark? It doesn't happen.
She hasn't given "thoughtful nuanced consideration" to a budget in 4 years (crime).
She claims to be tough on those countries that launch terrorist attacks against US embassies, yet votes to give billions of that borrowed money to those countries.
You are right in one area though, she did give "thoughtful, nuanced consideration" when she voted for herself to recieve millions of dollars in bailout money (should be a crime).

Does the economy get better when the PEOPLE have money to spend, or when the government continues to spend our children into generations of debt; turning them into impoverished dependents of the state.
Is it better for companies to hire people or keep being taxed & regulated to support those who they used to be able to hire.
Are you more concerned about YOUR money, or are you for an overgrown goverment getting more from you so they can keep spending without the accountability of a budget?
Do you believe in giving another 20% to that same unaccountable, irresponsible government, or do you believe that if you had 20% more of your money you wouldn't need so much "government assistance"?
Don't let them distract you with their name-calling, they don't know any better.
