Living Faith Academy Sets Dodgeball Tournament

Food, beverage, open play and Christian music will be offered

 

Living Faith Christian Academy is hosting Southwest Christian Church's 2nd annual dodgeball tournament for high school and middle school students from 5 to 9 p.m. June 29. The tourney will be at Rockwood South Middle School, 1628 Hawkins Rd., Fenton.

The event includes:

    • Free food and beverages
    • Music by Stealing Silver, a local worship band
    • Tournament play and free play as well
    • Trophies for both tournament play and random "superlatives."
    • Opportunity for teams to create their own team T-shirts. Team spirit is encouraged through creative uniforms and face paint. Awards will be given for the best team uniform.

    Last year's dodgeball tournament drew more than 100 participants. Southwest Christian Church, 1695 Smizer Station Rd., Fenton, hopes to attract 350-400 high school and middle school stdents.
