To bad Jeannie didn’t stop them from tearing down the newly remodeled, modernized, State-of the Art Chrysler Fenton plants with all new equipment, with both plants billion dollar plant expansions, it’s own EPA approved coal burning power plant, it’s own water treatment plant, it’s own water tower supply, it’s own billion dollar chiller building to keep both plants assembly area at ambient temperature of 72 degrees in the hottest St. Louis summers just because we were having the worse down turn in the American auto history. The question remains why did they have to tear them down before they even had the impact study showing the $15 billion revenue loss and impacting 43,000 tax paying St. Louis jobs. Who was responsible for tearing it down so quickly now that Chrysler could make use of it again and also the English all electric van company Emerald could have jumped in them this year instead of 3 years from now? Just what were those people thinking when they torn them down for scrap when they could have put 43,000 St. Louis tax payers back to work by now. She could be sitting in one of the new all electric Emerald Vans.

Truck Trend announced the new Dodge delivery van going to produce in Saltillo Mexico because Fenton tore down the Van plant in Fenton which impacted 43,000 St. Louis tax paying jobs that could have been brought back to work had Fenton not tore down the Chrysler minivan plant.
Marchionne was on hand at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show where he said his company would expand its plant in Saltillo, Mexico to build the Ram-branded Ducato in time for a 2013 sale date. No other details have been provided, but we expect the Ducato to be offered in a number of configurations. The automaker will likely make minor cosmetic changes to give the Ram are more distinctive look for the North American market
