Flip Through History With A 2013 Calendar
Count your days while you reflect back on Fenton's history with a calendar from the Fenton Historical Society.
The Fenton Historical Society is selling their first ever calendar to celebrate the society's 20th anniversary. The calendars are priced at $4 and all proceeds go to the society.
Each month features a black and white photo from Fenton's past, pulled from the hundreds of photos the group maintains in it's archive. You'll see Joseph Weil and his horse-drawn delivery truck, the old Bohemian Orphanage that housed Slavic children from St. Louis and around the country, and a "modern" 1939 all electric kitchen that Fred Nollau installed in his home to show off new technology.
The Historical Society museum is open on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The museum is located at One Church Street, next to Sister's Tea House.
If you are a local business and would like to help the society sell their calendars in your shop, please contact them at 636-326-0808 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
