Electronics, Pink Backpack Nabbed in Burglary

Weekly incident reports from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department

 

The following information was reported by ther Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

 

Tiffany Court, High Ridge

Electronics and a pink gray and yellow backpack were stolen Dec. 17 from a home on Tiffany Court in High Ridge, The value of the items was set at $350. Missing were a Playstation 3 game system, a Wii game system, a Dell laptop computer and the backpack. According to a sheriff's deputy's report, someone entered the home through the front door and removed the items between 7:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The report said the door was secured by a lock but did it did not close properly due to previous damage

Brennan Plaza, High Ridge

Two men were watched Dec. 18 by an employee of a store in Brennan Plaza, High Ridge, as the men stole used tires from the parking lot. The employee confronted the men and obtained a license plate number but didn't contact police. Instead, the employee notified the store manager the next day and the manager contacted police. Attempts to locate the vehicle owner indicated by the license plate number were to no avail. The incident is still under investigation.
