Dogs, Cats Seeking New Homes

Adoptable animals from the Open Door Animal Sanctuary.

Barra is a very playful mixed breed that is roughly a year and a half old. This girl has so much energy that you could play fetch until your arm turns to Jello and she'd still be raring to go. Barra is very strong and walks well on a leash, but walks with enthusiasm. This is one muscular 50 lb girl! Barra plays well with other dogs and is cat curious. If you are looking for a bundle of energy that can entertain you all day, come by and meet Barra.

Bubba Jay is one of our older gentlemen that is looking for a family that wants to snuggle him. Born in 2008, Bubba Jay is out of the puppy stage but still has plenty of energy. Bubba Jay gets along well with other dogs, he had a girlfriend here for a time, and loves to play in the yard. He can be a bit of an escape artist, so he would need to be supervised while outside. This boy is housebroken, knows basic commands, and is the biggest lover in the place. I bet you're already in love with Bubba Jay.

Otto is a fun filled 3-year-old that loves to entertain. Whether he's drinking out of the sink or playing with a toy, Otto is sure to bring a smile to your face. Otto loves to be held and cuddled and really likes toys. This is a boy that can make anything into a plaything. Even though Otto doesn't get along with other cats, he does just fine without any "friends" other than people friends. If you need a handsome man to love, Otto is waiting just for you.

Winky is a fun loving girl that needs a home to call her own. Winky has grown up here at the shelter and is now over 2. This girl loves to play and really loves to be snuggled. If curiosity ever truly kills a cat, it'll probably get Winky. She always wants to know what's going on, what's in here, what're you doing? She's very inquisitive. Winky does have long hair, but she keeps it looking so nice, that she doesn't require any extra grooming. She's not a high maintenance girl. If you're looking for a new bundle of joy, come and meet Winky.
