Burglaries Net Gun, Tools, Electronics, $25 Radio

The following information was provided by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

Babs Lane, Fenton

Deputies responded to a report of a burglary Apr. 27 at Babs Lane in Fenton where a homeowner arrived home to discover her front door was wide open and several item missing. The door did not appear to be forced. Missing were a 32-inch flat screen TV, a Wii game system and seven Wii games. Total value estimated at $2,000. Deputies discovered no fingerprints nor was any information obtained from a canvas of the neighborhood.

High Ridge Heights, High Ridge

A .38-cal handgun was discovered missing Apr. 28 from a home on High Ridge Heights Drive, in High Ridge. The victim told deputies that the key to his gun safe was missing and said a granddaughter who lives with him was a heroin addict and that she confessed to the theft to another family member. Deputies failed to make contact with the granddaughter and she was listed as wanted. The value of the handgun was set at $280.

Mount Everest Drive, Fenton

Deputies were called to a report of a burglary May 1 on Mount Everest Drive, in Fenton where a $25 portable radio was stolen from a bedroom closet after the burglar entered through a bedroom window. The victim had no information to offer about the burglary. Upon canvassing the neighborhood, deputies learned of another victim, who reported someone entered his residence through a bedroom window and went through his belongings. The second victim said he had not determined whether any items were missing.

Sunrise Drive, High Ridge

A burglary at a residence May 2 on Sunrise Drive resulted in property damage that included the front entry door, rear entry door, ceiling tiles, an oven and a wooden wall clock. Deputies collected a small sample of blood as potential evidence in the burglary.

Bay Circle Drive, Fenton

About $93 worth of tools were stolen May 1 from a van on Bay Circle Drive, in Fenton. The victim said the rear passenger side window would not lock, providing potential access to the van. Missing were four Porta-Cable nailers, a finish nailer, a black "Saws-All," a black Dremel tool and a black Skil Saw.

Jo De Drive, Fenton

During a patrol of the Greenfield Manor neighborhood on May 2, a deputy detained a suspicious person on Jo De Drive. While frisking the suspect, the deputy discovered a hypodermic needle and six Percocet tablets in the person's pants pockets. The man was arrested possession of a controlled substance and posession of drug paraphernalia.

Apple Trail Court, High Ridge

Deputies responded to a domestic assault report at a home Apr. 24 on Apple Trail Court, in High Ridge. Witnesses said a man used his vehicle to ram the victim's vehicle twice, pushing it down the road. During the incident the suspect's children were in the car. No injuries were reported. The man was arrested and taken into custody.

West Sugar Lane, High Ridge

A woman reported the theft of a debit and credit card by her son after they had an argument Apr. 22 at their home on West Sugar Lane, in High Ridge. The woman told deputies her son had admitted to the theft but he later denied it to deputies when they contacted him on the phone. The son declined to meet with deputies because he had an active warrant out for his arrest.
