Thad James and a crew of balloon artists were hard at work before and during the St. Louis Home and Garden Show at America's Center and the Edward Jones Dome last week.  James, of Fenton, via his company, Sammy J Balloon Creations, used more than 7,000 balloons to build flowers, palm trees, monkeys, a cave, a waterfall and all sorts of tropical flora and fauna as conventioneers roamed the aisles.  The Viewfinder gallery shows the tropical garden as it was taking shape.

Very cool and very creative! How nice to see so many artists come together to create such a huge piece!
